Grant Cycle One

The Arizona Pork Council is pleased to announce the Swine Project Starter Grant. This Grant was developed to allow individuals an opportunity to participate in the swine industry. $500 will be awarded to youth participating in their first Swine Project to help reimburse the purchase of their pig and related project needs.​

The Swine Project Starter Grant is divided into two cycles to help support youth participating in both the Spring and Fall County Fairs. Only applications for youth participating in a Spring County Fair will be considered for Cycle 1. ​

Applicants MUST complete the Google Form application (link below) AND submit an essay OR video explaining 1) the need for this grant and 2) how your future will be impacted by participating in a Swine Project. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
 

 8- to 10-year-old applicants will submit a 150-word essay OR 1-minute video

 11- to 13-year-old applicants will submit a 300-word essay OR a 2-minute video

 14- to 19-year-old applicants will submit a 500-word essay OR a 3-minute video
