Grant Cycle Two

The Arizona Pork Council is pleased to announce the Swine Project Starter Grant. This Grant was developed to allow individuals an opportunity to participate within the swine industry. $500 will be awarded to 40 youth participating in their 1st Swine Project towards reimbursement for the purchase of their pig and pig project needs.

 

The Swine Project Starter Grant is split into 2 Cycles to help assist youth participating in both Spring and Fall Fairs. Cycle 1 has closed for 2025 (Spring Fairs). Cycle 2 will be accepting applications through May 31st, Only applications for youth participating in a Fall Fair will be considered for the Cycle 2 Grant.

Applicants MUST complete the google form application (link below) AND submit an essay OR video explaining 1) the need for this grant and 2) how your future will be impacted by participating in a Swine Project. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
 

 8 to 10-year-old applicants will submit a 150-word essay OR 1 minute video

 11 to 13-year-old applicants will submit a 300-word essay OR 2-minute video

 14 to 19-year-old applicants will submit a 500-word essay OR a 3-minute video
